Tier 4: Changes to Norfolk library services

Following the recent national Government guidance, Norfolk libraries will be making some changes from Thursday 24 December 2020 until further notice.

All libraries and mobiles are closed temporarily from Thursday 24th December at 12 noon.We will not re-open after the Christmas break.

We will be offering a Select and Collect service at some premises in the New Year. In addition, a few locations will also continue to offer access to computers so that our customers can access critical public services online. Library users are asked to check the Norfolk County Council website for full details of what is available in their area. You can also follow us on Twitter (@NorfolkLibs), Facebook (@NorfolkLibrariesUK) and Instagram (norfolklibraries).

Don’t forget that we offer a wide range of online services, including eBooks, eNewspapers, eMagazines, eAudio and online activities. Visit our website for more information about these services.

We would like to reassure you that all books currently on loan will be automatically renewed and no further charges will be incurred until further notice.

Thank you for your support throughout 2020; we hope you have an enjoyable festive period, and we look forward to seeing you back in our libraries again as soon as it’s safe to do so.
