A few weeks ago I used the Paston Way to get from home (in North Walsham) to a meeting in Knapton. I was disappointed to discover that steps down one of the old railway embankments were broken. The barrier marking the closure of the path at that point had been ripped away too so I only discovered it when I reached the slope.
I reported the broken barrier and asked the Council when the steps are likely to be repaired. The Norfolk Trails team has replied to say the repairs will be carried out in November or December. This is a disappointing delay but I will check to make sure it is done so that residents enjoy this lovely path again soon.
